Stephanie and Tim first met through some mutual friends. Their proposal is the cutest thing ever! Tim is one sneaky person.
So Tim secretly called us one day after Stephanie had been into the tasting room. He had recently given her the “ok” to start looking at wedding venues even though they weren’t technically engaged yet. However, they both wanted to get married. We took Stephanie for a venue tour and she instantly fell in love. The only down side is we were booked already for the majority of the month of September that she was wanting. Since she loved the venue so much she called and told Tim what dates were available and that if he wanted it, he needed to book asap. Without Stephanie knowing, he called back right after she left and booked their ideal date of September 4th, 2016.
Proposal time! Tim took Stephanie to Atlantic Beach for a mini vacation and they went to watch the sunset on the beach. Tim had packed a picnic with two Dennis Vineyards wine glasses and a bottle of Spring for them to share. When he pulled out the wine and glasses he proposed, surprising her with not only a ring, but her dream venue that she thought had already booked out from under them!
They had their ceremony under the pecan trees. It’s always nice to plan ahead when it’s going to be hot outside, so they chose to have their ceremony in the shade rather than the gazebo.
Now inside at the reception they went with a color scheme of Blush Pink and Navy. They accented with gold for a nice pop. Stephanie and her sister made all the centerpieces themselves and they are beautiful! I love a good DIY wedding.
Her cake was absolutely delicious and looked stunning. It was brought in by C Cups Cupcakery. I mean…you had me at salted caramel. YUM!
My favorite little detail that Stephanie brought in was their gift table. For her cards she had a mailbox which was the cutest thing ever! Why didn’t I think of that?
