Hannah and Matthew first met one another through mutual friends, I have deemed that to be the best way to meet someone.
This proposal cracks me up. Hannah and Matthew went to Myrtle Beach for their first anniversary. They were supposed to go to Charlotte and he had everything set up for the proposal but she wanted to go to the beach instead. He then tried to call his future father and mother in law to ask their permission to marry their daughter, but her dad accidentally hit cancel on the call and not speaker phone like he tried to. Her parents kept trying to call Matthew back but he had already set his phone to “do not disturb” and proposed to Hannah anyway on the beach. Funny how things have a way of working out if they are supposed to.
Their wedding ceremony took place at the Gazebo. They had very simple but beautiful decorations. Where they stood, they wrapped the columns in a vine with purple flowers and draped it in the center.
Hannah and Matthew chose a silver and plum color scheme for their reception. All the dining tables were in plum and for the sweetheart table they used the farm house table that we provide. Her centerpieces were DIY with purple flowers, ribbon, and a vase. Now the cutest thing happened while I was there…Her future husband had flowers delivered to her while she was getting ready with a note that said “To the love of my life, see you at the alter.” She used that huge arrangement on their sweetheart table as the main decoration. Her cake was so pretty! They had a small, two tiered cake for them to cut into and then cupcakes. Each decoration on top of the cupcakes had a special story behind them. They were mostly Disney characters because Hannah is a huge Disney fan. As in their exit song after the ceremony was from Frozen.
