Brittany and Brennen first met when they were just 16 years old. There’s nothing like being high school sweethearts. They had a small part time job together working at a yogurt shop. At 16 you have no idea what you want to do with your life, what you want to be when you grow up, or even where you see yourself in the next 10 years. However, Brittany knew she was going to marry Brennen one day.
Brennen took Brittany to Savannah Georgia for the proposal. To a quaint little restaurant called The Olde Pink House. “Located in the heart of historic Savannah, Georgia, The Olde Pink House, Savannah’s only 18th century mansion, is famous for memorable dining experiences featuring seafood caught daily in local waters, prime aged beef and traditional southern fare.” – TripAdvisor
Flash forward and it’s August 12, 2017. All the girls and guys are getting dressed. Laughter can be heard from each room and unforgettable memories are made. Zippers are pulled, bowties straightened, hugs shared between friends and family, and deep breaths are inhaled and exhaled. Their hands are slightly shaky. His stuffed in pockets, hers wrapped around the most gorgeous bouquet as she walks down the isle. He will finally see his bride. They say their “I Do’s” at the gazebo under beautifully draped fabric and a chandelier. Her bridesmaids wear flattering red wine colored dresses and the groomsmen in dapper navy tuxes. All the greenery in the flowers pop next to their dark dresses for an eye catching contrast.
Cheers can be heard from across the street as their vows are sealed with a kiss. Everyone claps for the new Mr. and Mrs. as they head up to the reception. Inside the ballroom drapes are hung from the exposed rafters directly above the dance floor. Her navy linens adorned with gold chargers and beautiful centerpieces. She alternated 3 different centerpieces throughout the venue. Some were large flower arrangements, some had flowers and lanterns, others had tall vases in the center with much larger flowers. Adding height pulls your guests eyes up to see the exposed wooden beams that run all across the ceiling and make the room feel even taller.
Instead of having a large wedding cake Brittany had a cupcake tower topped with cake pops. Other desserts were scattered around such as brownies and tarts.
Brittany had an absolutely gorgeous day to tie the knot with her new hubby Brennen. We couldn’t be happier for them!
