Cranberry, Sage, and Blush Pink

We all know of, or have some friends who just love to play matchmaker. That was exactly the case with Adrianna and Tyler. They had some mutual friends that thought they would be perfect for one another, boy were they right! However, it took some convincing for Adrianna. She actually didn’t know they shared any mutual friends. She and all of her girls were at a football game one night and Tyler was there too. A few minutes of peer pressure later they convinced her to go over and talk/flirt with Tyler… what a perfect set up by loving friends. Who knew it would lead to a 6 year relationship, an adorable proposal and happily ever after.

The proposal took place at the beach in Morehead City, North Carolina. They were out wining and dining at a nice restaurant on the waterfront. Tyler had to set up the perfect atmosphere and backdrop for the big moment. Now keep in mind he had all this planned to a T. He dropped to one knee and asked her to be his forever, she said yes, and he got it all on camera! Adrianna’s brother in law was hiding in the bushes and filmed it all, while the rest of her family was across the street so all they had to do was run over and celebrate with the happy couple!

Adrianna had always dreamed of having her wedding at a vineyard and on October 29, 2017 that became a reality with us at A Place in the Vineyard. Her rustic themed wedding fit right in with our exposed beam ceiling, silos, and old barns where they had a lot of their photos taken. For the actual ceremony they said their “I Do’s” at the gazebo, which is still our most popular location. Adrianna added her touch and old soul feel to the decorations with the horse drawn carriage, wine barrels, and huge floral bouquets at the end of the isle. Her vintage style gown with hand placed lace that appears to float on her super-romantic illusion neckline. I’m pretty sure that dress was made specifically for her. All of the bridesmaids were in beautiful cranberry red halter dresses, the guys had white button up shirts, cranberry ties, suspenders, and dark grey pants. Everyone was looking dapper, especially Tyler! He was dressed a little differently than his groomsmen. Instead of suspenders he was in a heather vintage looking vest, red tie, and dark grey pants. I don’t think I’ve seen a groom smile more than this one. Which I can see why, he gained a beautiful bride!

Inside the reception hall all of her tables had wooden rounds with lanterns on them. My favorite little touch was the cake table! Instead of a traditional table with a linen, she had a large spool with an oversized doily for her cake to sit upon. Which was gorgeous by the way. Publix always does a wonderful job with their wedding cakes.
